Terra Monoprint Autumn is my favorite season. Where I live in New England the last warm days merging with the first crisp ones coalesce to produce a euphoria of sorts. Fresh cool shade with patches of hot sun has the garden displaying ripened seedpods and late blooming blossoms, as crickets keep up their cadenced song until the first frost. This image was an attempt to capture the essence of this time 'tween the seasons that is so rich and sublime. It is framed in a custom-made, burnished gold, wooden frame with a cream mat and measures 12.5 in. x 15.5 in. |
