Exquisite Needlepoint Hunza Hat
This lovely woman’s hat comes from Hunza in the mountainous region of Northern Pakistan.

It is masterfully embroidered by hand in colorful silk and cotton floss and fashioned into the traditional skullcap style. Skullcaps such as this are usually covered with another headscarf when the wearer is out and about. This one measures 6.5 inches across and 2.5 inches high. It is lined with delightful floral printed cotton and is in excellent condition.
