Beautiful Old Beaded Cuff from West Africa
This beautiful, old, wide leather bracelet, is wrapped with four rings of brightly colored glass seed beads in a dynamic geometric pattern.
The rich patina of the leather inside attests to it being worn for a long time before it was collected in Mali in the 1970s. It has been in my collection for over three decades. It measures almost 4" across with the opening measuring roughly 3.5". It is in great condition with only a few beads missing from age and use.
A wonderful cultural artifact that could be gently worn on occasion...
