Antique Tribal Silver Choker with Faceted Labradorite Beads
This powerful statement owes its authority to 19th C tribal silver links that are the primary design elements. These geometrically patterned squares were once strung in silver belts traditionally worn by Chin women in Burma.
Time has softened them to a pewter hue whose smooth surface quietly glimmers.
Flashes of blue luminescence from accompanying labradorite and bronze-toned pyrite add subtle excitement. A scattering of antiqued brass beads contribute a warming contrast to the predominately cool palette of smoky gray.
A toggle clasp pulls it all together in this one of a kind necklace by Deborah Garner.
